Manama, June 25 (BNA): The Crown Prince International Scholarship Program (CPISP) “Nomination Program” has commenced the scholarship selection process for 2024.
The program has conducted an orientation briefing at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) premises to brief scholarship candidates, from public and private schools, on the training they will receive during the programme.
Ava Garbutt, Acting Director of CPISP, commended HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for his far-reaching vision to invest and develop young Bahrainis and congratulated the candidates on their shortlisting.
During the nomination program, students will complete a number of courses with an emphasis on critical thinking, academic writing, leadership, and communications.
Students will also take a professional and personal aptitude test, prepare for standardized tests, and complete a Level 3 Certificate in Team Leadership awarded by the UK-based Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
CPISP will announce scholarship recipients early next year. Recipients will be selected on academic merit and leadership qualities as determined by their grade point average (GPA), IELTS score, SAT score, and scores for critical thinking and leadership courses taken.
The Acting Principal concluded by thanking the BIBF for constantly sharing their experiences and wishing the students a fruitful experience.
