Manama, June 18 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, today visited the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force.
His Highness was received by the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi and a number of senior officers.
His Highness affirmed that the Kingdom is making great progress in achieving its wide-ranging goals under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
His Highness referred to the citizens’ commitment to promoting the Kingdom’s development and strengthening its position globally in all sectors.
His Highness stressed the role of the Bahrain Defense Force in supporting the comprehensive development of the Kingdom under the leadership of His Majesty the King.
His Highness praised the efficiency, professionalism, selflessness, achievements and role of the Bahrain Defense Force in preserving the Kingdom’s national security and stability. His Highness added that the members of the Bahrain Defense Force will remain a symbol of loyalty and a source of inspiration for all.
Then His Highness was briefed on the plans and programs for the future development of the Bahrain Defense Force and praised its advanced training and combat readiness.
His Highness expressed his gratitude to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces for strengthening the military capabilities of the Bahrain Defense Force and maintaining regional security alongside the Kingdom’s allies.
