Manama, June 15 (BNA): The Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Organization, Shaikha Mashael bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, presented a business intelligence course in the central financial system, which will be applied and linked to the ministry’s stores.
The workshop was attended by the Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Abdullah Mohammed Al Zayed, and the Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources, Brigadier General Adel Abdullah Amin.
The Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Organization confirmed that, in line with the directives of the Minister of Interior, Major General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the strengthening of capabilities using modern technologies to increase efficiency, and based on the ministry’s strategy to develop its capabilities and expand its scope of work. The use of modern technological equipment, where the business intelligence program was applied with the competent directorates of the ministry to develop procurement plans, analyze the movement of stored materials, and accelerate the decision-making process according to the highest levels of efficiency, in addition to identifying obstacles and working on developing radical solutions to address them.
She pointed out that the business intelligence program is a modern methodology for collecting and analyzing various business data and creating visualizations from them in order to understand the current situation and previous trends, and then form future visions that contribute to improving the decision-making process and. Raising the quality of work.
She indicated that the system was implemented in the central financial system in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, where the business intelligence program worked through an interactive control panel.
