Manama, July 7 (BNA): The Bahrain national under-21 volleyball team got off to a perfect start after winning the opening match of the FIVB Volleyball Championship for Men under 21 years of age 2023, which the Kingdom will host until July 16.
Bahrain beat their Tunisian counterparts 3-0, 25-22, 25-12, 25-22, to top Group A.
The Undersecretary of Cabinet Affairs and Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, was at the forefront of the national team’s support during the opening match against Tunisia.
The match was attended by the President of the Bahrain Volleyball Association, Sheikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Secretary-General of the Federation, Firas Al-Halwashi, and the Chargé d’Affairs of the Tunisian Embassy in Bahrain, Mona Al-Maaloul.

Egypt lost to Brazil 0-3, while Argentina beat the United States 3-0.
