Manama, July 16 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, General Ehsan Al-Haq, former Chairman of the Joint Staff Committee of Pakistan.
Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Chief of the National Guard, was present.
His Majesty the King welcomed the former president and praised the strong relations between the two countries, indicating the strength of bilateral cooperation in various sectors, including the military and defense fields.
His Majesty the King awarded the Order of Bahrain to General Ihsan Al-Haq in recognition of his efforts to enhance military and defense cooperation with Bahrain by awarding him the Order of Bahrain.
Lieutenant General Ehsan Al-Haq expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the King, appreciating His Majesty’s important role in developing Bahraini-Pakistani relations.
