German inflation confirmed at 2.5% in June

Berlin, July 11 (BNA):  German inflation eased in June to 2.5%, the federal statistics office said on Thursday, confirming preliminary data.

 

German consumer prices, harmonised to compare with other European Union countries, had risen by 2.8% year-on-year in May, Reuters reported.

 

The statistics office gives more detailed monthly data, on its website.
