Ottawa, June 25 (BNA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Canada, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, participated in a meeting with Balkan Devlin, Director of the Transatlantic Program and Senior Fellow at the MacDonald Laurier Institute, as part of his work. Official visit to Canada.
The ambassador pointed out that the recent regional developments reflect the importance of strengthening relations and cooperation between Bahrain and Canada, especially in the political and economic fields in a way that serves common interests.
The envoy praised Canada’s strong partnership with the region, noting that its participation in the Joint Task Force reflects its support for safeguarding international and regional peace and security.
He stressed the importance of discussing ways to enhance cooperation in all fields within the framework of the Bahraini-Canadian relations that extend back to 50 years.
Balkan Devlin congratulated the ambassador after the launch of the Canadian-Bahrain Friendship Group, adding that the MacDonald Laurier Institute is looking forward to continuing talks with the concerned authorities in Bahrain to discuss areas and areas of joint cooperation between the two countries.
