Manama, June 25 (BNA): The Executive Committee organizing the International School Games (ISF) Bahrain 2024 held a meeting with the Internal Security Forces Management Committee to discuss hosting the largest school games championship in history in terms of the number of participants.
Ishaq stressed that it took tremendous efforts to succeed in making Bahrain host the Gymnasium (Internal Security Forces) 2024, during the month of October next year, under the auspices of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
During the meeting, he gave a detailed presentation on the preparations being made by the Executive Committee, and highlighted the Kingdom’s readiness for sports facilities and its commitment to the plan of the Internal Security Forces.
Ishaq also briefed the Internal Security Forces Management Committee on the Kingdom’s promotional plan to attract the largest number of participants from all over the world, which covered technical and operational aspects, preliminary and logistical arrangements.
The Internal Security Forces Management Committee praised the promotional plan and hosting preparations by the Organizing Executive Committee, especially the readiness of sports facilities, in addition to the Kingdom’s willingness to host the largest games in the history of school sports.
The gymnasium will continue for 10 consecutive days during October 2024, with the participation of 5,000 students from more than 80 different countries.
Participants will compete in 25 different sports, across 14 sites designated for the tournament.
