AICS Second edition set to empower Global Cooperation

Manama, July 20 (BNA): Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, the Kingdom is hosting the Second Arab International Conference and Exhibition on Cybersecurity.

The event is scheduled to take place at Bahrain World Expo from December 6-8.

Building on the massive success of the inaugural conference, the second edition aims to exceed all expectations and provide an unparalleled platform for cybersecurity professionals, policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders to share knowledge and insights on the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity. By enabling global collaboration as the main objective, the event aims to enhance collective resilience against cyber threats and create a safer digital environment for individuals, businesses and governments around the world.

The Steering Committee held a meeting in the presence of Colonel M. Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary of the National Committee for Cybersecurity. Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, CEO of the National Center for Cybersecurity. Brigadier General Bassam Muhammad Al-Maraj, Director General of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security, and Amal Al-Murbati, representing the organizers, Valiat.

During the meeting, the committee discussed the preparation for the conference, including the agenda, selection of speakers, and strategic partnerships.

Amal Al-Murbati said: “The steering committee meeting represents a milestone in the planning process for the Bahrain Cybersecurity Conference. We are pleased to witness the dedication and enthusiasm shown by the committee members.”
