Manama, June 21 (BNA): Work at the Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalid College of Islamic Studies is on track, as 77 percent of the project has been completed.
“The electromechanical and foundational works have been completed,” the Ministry of Works said, emphasizing the importance of the educational landmark, which bears the name of the late Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs.
“The college is being built on a plot of land of 4,177 square metres, while the total construction area is 3,567 square metres,” said Assistant Undersecretary for Construction and Maintenance Projects Maryam Abdullah Amin.
The three-storey college is designed with a total capacity of up to 300 people. The Tender Board awarded construction works to Saraya Contracting Company.
