Manama, July 10 (BNA): Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to strengthen its relations and cooperation with it. France at all levels for the benefit of the two countries and their people.


He also highlighted the interest of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to enhance cooperation and coordination with France.


This came in the statements of the Speaker of the Muslim Parliament during his meeting here today with the outgoing French Ambassador to Bahrain, Jerome Cauchard.


He praised the efforts made by the envoy in strengthening the Bahraini-French side throughout his tenure, wishing him success in his upcoming assignments.


The outgoing French ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Speaker of Parliament for the support he received during his tenure, stressing his country’s keenness to strengthen relations with the Kingdom in various fields, especially with regard to parliamentary cooperation.
