MoI’s Human Resources Directorate organises workshop

Manama, June 23 (BNA): The Human Resources Department at the Ministry of Interior, in partnership with the Royal Academy of Police (RAP), organized a second introductory workshop on cloud computing and its applications.

The workshop was held for general managers and directors of public security officers clubs. The workshop was provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS), as part of a plan to present the topic to senior officials in the ministry.

Force Commander Brigadier General Fawaz Al-Hassan confirmed that the workshop is part of the development and modernization strategy launched by His Excellency the Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to enhance the skills of the workforce.

He stressed that RAP spares no effort in adopting modern technologies and cloud services to develop its scientific and educational programs in a way that develops its outputs and is consistent with achieving its mission and goals.
