BDF General Command opens enrollment for Bahraini women to reserve force

Manama, June 11 (BNA): The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force opened the door for Bahraini women to volunteer in the reserve forces. Therefore, applicants must register on the BDF website using the following link: https://www.bdf.bh, if they meet the following conditions:

The applicant must be a Bahraini national, between the ages of 18 and 55, be of good conduct and have not been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude or dishonesty, be medically fit for military service in the reserve force and successfully pass the prescribed medical examination as per the medical committees Military of the Bahrain Defense Force. The age limit does not apply to technicians and professionals.

The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force affirmed that contributing to protecting the homeland and preserving its security, stability and territorial integrity is a sacred national duty and an honor for citizens. The Reserve Force Law, promulgated by Legislative Decree No. (5) of 1987 and the regulations and instructions issued pursuant thereto, regulates all rights and duties of the Reserve Force as an auxiliary force to the Bahrain Defense Force, and guarantees the benefits and entitlements arising therefrom.
