Manama, Aug.15 (BNA): Northern Governor Ali All Sheikh Abdulhussein Al Asf Asfoor received World Health Organisation (WHO) Representative in the Kingdom of Bahrain Dr. Tasnim Al Atatrah, in the presence of Health Ministry Assistant Undersecretary Dr. Ejlal Al Alawi.
Al Asfoor received a letter of cooperation from the Geneva-based organization to start work on the “Healthy Northern Governorate” programme.
The governor stressed the importance of stepping up efforts in the coming period to meet the requirements for the Health Cities scheme and implement the accreditation criteria.
