SCW Secretary General receives eighth intake of PM Fellowship Programme

Manama, June 11 (BNA): The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women, Hala Al-Ansari, stressed the importance of the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Program in building capacities and refining leadership skills. She praised the outcome of the program, which reflects the ambitious vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to invest in national cadres and actively involve them in the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty the King. This came during Al-Ansari’s speech during a meeting at the headquarters of the Supreme Council for Women with the eighth batch of the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Program. She welcomed them, praising their excellence and enthusiasm. She noted that the Supreme Council for Women, as an advisory body, works with the legislative, executive and judicial authorities to continue empowering Bahraini women and achieve the desired goals.

The eighth batch of the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Program listened to a detailed briefing on the establishment of the Supreme Council for Women, the organizational structure of its general secretariat, and the mechanisms for implementing the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women.
