National Guard Commander honors Special Operations Unit

Manama, June 1 (BNA) The Commander of the National Guard, Lieutenant-General His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, honored the Special Operations Unit for obtaining first place in combat readiness 2020-2021.

His Highness expressed his pride in the high levels of readiness reached by the National Guard, which was embodied in the results of the combat readiness inspection.

The unit’s victory reflects the high efficiency of the army in carrying out the national duties entrusted to them with determination and sincerity, which embodies the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum directed the continued development and modernization of all sectors of the National Guard, which will reflect positively on enhancing its capabilities in protecting the growth and prosperity of Bahrain.

The Head of the Special Operations Unit, Lt. Col. Shaikh Salman bin Muhammad bin Isa Al Khalifa, expressed his appreciation to the Commander of the National Guard for his directives and follow-up of training programs to enhance the combat and academic capabilities of National Guard officers.

He added that the combat readiness inspection confirms the continuation of the guard’s efforts to raise the level of military efficiency, by evaluating the guards’ tactical and development units’ readiness and plans to achieve the highest levels of military discipline and readiness according to high standards. – Training strategies at the level followed by the National Guard.
