Nasser bin Hamad: Winning Prince Mohammed bin Fahad Prize reflects royal support to humanitarian work

Manama, December 26 (BNA) His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, praised the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Honorary President of the Royal King. His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed his appreciation to the executive management and all employees of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation for their distinguished role in serving orphans, widows and the needy.

He was speaking on the occasion of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation’s winning of the second edition of the Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd Prize for Best Charitable Performance in the Arab Countries (2019-2020), which was organized by the League of Arab States for Administrative Development under the slogan “Towards a Better”. The future of institutional charitable work in the Arab world.

His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa described the achievement as a reflection of the royal support for charitable work and the great relief and humanitarian efforts made by the Kingdom of Bahrain to provide aid to those suffering from conflicts, wars and natural disasters.

For his part, the Secretary-General of the Health Care Corporation, Dr. Mustafa Sayed, expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the King for his parental care of the members of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation.

He praised the unlimited royal support for the Foundation’s work, praising the government’s support led by His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
