Manama, September 11 (BNA) The representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, praised the steps taken by Hope Ventures, the investment arm of the Hope Fund, to raise 1.5 million Bahraini dinars. As a capital increase in partnership with 30 private investors. He stressed the importance of integrating the roles between Hope Ventures and the private sector in order to launch and adopt many future quality initiatives and creative projects to develop a supportive and stimulating investment environment for young entrepreneurs in the Kingdom. He pointed out that this is in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the vision of the esteemed government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Bahrain Vision 2030.
This came during the speech of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa during a ceremony held under his patronage at the Bahrain Bourse to announce the capital increase of Hope Ventures in cooperation with the private sector. The ceremony was attended by Minister of Industry and Commerce Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hope Ventures, Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Moayyed, CEO of Bahrain Stock Exchange Sheikh Khalifa bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, and 30 Hope Ventures. Investors, including experienced entrepreneurs and executives who have pledged to empower promising Bahraini entrepreneurs by providing investment and mentorship and facilitating entrepreneurs’ access to their vast network of knowledge to expand their businesses into global markets.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa praised the joint investment of the private sector in projects of hope and common goals to support Bahraini youth through the world of entrepreneurship. He directed the private sector and Hope Ventures to create an ideal environment that ensures the continuity of those partnerships that contribute to building a supportive force for entrepreneurship locally.
For his part, the Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his continuous support for Hope Ventures initiatives aimed at promoting viable youth projects. He expressed Hope Ventures’ keenness to build a strong partnership with the private sector to support Bahraini youth in launching their small and medium enterprises.
