Abu Dhabi, October 31 (BNA) The representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, attended the opening of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), which is currently underway. Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State.
The conference, called the largest gathering of the oil sector in the world, brings together industry leaders, policy makers and innovators from around the world to discuss the future of energy.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa stressed the importance of ADIPEC as a specialized event that would enhance the UAE’s leading position in shaping the future of the energy sector worldwide. He described the event as an important platform for exchanging views on the main issues facing the energy sector at the regional, continental and international levels.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa indicated that ADIPEC is being held this year at a critical time when the world is witnessing an increasing interest in energy sources. He praised the great efforts made by the UAE in organizing the conference, which will open wider horizons for the future of energy in the world.
