NAO Auditor General receives Education Minister

Manama, Feb. 7 (BNA): The Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received the Minister of Education, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma.

The meeting discussed raising the level of cooperation and coordination.

The Auditor General affirmed the Bureau’s continued coordination with all ministries, government agencies and institutions covered by its oversight mandate to achieve levels of performance, quality and efficiency of services provided to citizens, in accordance with international auditing standards.

He highlighted the office’s relations with the ministry and emphasized increased coordination to consolidate the principles of integrity, transparency and professionalism in line with the goals of the comprehensive development vision led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman.
