Dallas, January 19 (BNA): DeJonte Murray scored 30 points, Tra Young scored 18 points and had 12 assists in another game with Luka Doncic. The Atlanta Hawks beat the Dallas Mavericks 130-122 on Wednesday night.
John Collins added 19 points for the Hawks’ season-best fourth straight game to pass . 500 (23-22) for the first time since Dec. 27, the Associated Press reports.
Doncic scored 30 points but fell to 4-3 in head-to-head meetings with Young since they were traded to each other as top five picks on draft night in 2018. Doncic was third overall and Young fifth.
Murray and Collins combined to go 7-of-11 from 3-point range as the Hawks shot 57% depth and 50% overall in a hot shooting night for both teams. Dallas was 52% overall.
Christian Wood scored 22 points and nine rebounds for the Mavericks.

Memphis: Desmond Bane scored 25 points and Ja Morant 24 Memphis won its 11th straight game to match the franchise record with a win over Cleveland.
Stephen Adams managed to score the winning goal with 16 seconds left in the match. Adams was in position to pass on a punt by Morant, and Dillon Brooks preserved the win by blocking Garland’s 3-point attempt at the buzzer.
Darius Garland led Cleveland with 24 points, Caris LeVert 23 points, and Evan Mobley added 18 points and 15 rebounds. Cleveland played without scoring leader Donovan Mitchell due to a strained left thigh.

Andrew Nimbard scored 18 points for Indiana. The Pacers have lost five in a row.

New York: Kyle Kuzma scored 27 points and Bradley Beal scored 18 in his five-game comeback and Washington didn’t fall behind against New York.
Kuzma also recorded 13 rebounds and seven assists. Bell shot the ball 7-for-11 after being sidelined with a strained left hamstring. The Wizards went 1-4 without him.
Kristaps Porcingis scored 22 points, 11 rebounds and five assists for Washington against his former team.
Jalen Bronson scored 32 points for New York.

HOUSTON: Terry Rozier scored 26 points and Charlotte held off a reeling Houston to record a five-game skid Wednesday night after LaMelo Ball re-injured his left ankle.
And the Hornets, who have the worst record in the Eastern Conference, scored their first win since January 6 over the hapless Rockets. Houston, who has the worst record in the NBA and not won since Dec. 26, has lost a season-high 12th in a row.
Jalen Green had a career-high 41 points to lead the Rockets.

Salt Lake City: Lauri Markkanen scored 34 points and 12 rebounds as Utah beat Los Angeles.

The Jazz took a straight-game lead and as much as 25 points over the weary Clippers, in the second game of a straight set, without Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
Norman Powell led Los Angeles with 30 points.

New Orleans: Bam Adebayo scored 26 points and Miami has comfortably led since the first quarter against New Orleans.
Jimmy Butler added 18 points and Gabe Vincent hit four 3-pointers in a 16-point night for the Heat. They were never behind and led all but the first two minutes on the way to their fourth win in five games.
CJ McCollum scored 21 points for the Pelicans. They’ve lost seven out of 10 while playing much of that stretch without Star Force forward Zion Williamson.
