Municipalities Minister praised turnout of Bahraini Farmers’ Market

Manama, Jan. 28 (BNA): Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Wael bin Nasser Al-Mubarak visited the Bahraini Farmers’ Market and met with the participants.

The minister said that the organizing committee of the market recorded more than 120,000 visitors in two months.

Al-Mubarak said that the public turnout over the past 8 weeks confirms the importance of the market as a Bahraini product platform.

He praised the support that the Bahraini farmers market enjoys from the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and expressed his appreciation for the visit of Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to the market. .

The Bahrain Farmers Market celebrates its tenth edition with the participation of 32 farmers, four agricultural companies, five nurseries, four apiaries, four date specialists and 20 productive families. In addition to the Children’s Village, which attracted more than 10,000 children with various events and activities, in coordination with the Ministry of Social Development.
