Ministry of Foreign Affairs marks Bahrain Diplomatic Day

Manama, January 13 (BNA) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted today a virtual party on the occasion of the Diplomatic Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

It was held in the presence of senior officials of the Ministry, heads of diplomatic missions of the Kingdom of Bahrain abroad, and employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the ceremony, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani delivered a speech in which he said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is honored to celebrate with pride the Diplomatic Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He pointed out that the celebration comes on January 14 of each year, the day chosen by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to celebrate Bahrain’s diplomacy in appreciation of the faithful giving of the ministry and diplomatic missions abroad.

He expressed his happiness with the highest expressions of thanks, appreciation and gratitude to His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the great care and support they show to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He praised the remarkable efforts made by Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Advisor to His Majesty the King for Diplomatic Affairs, in promoting Bahrain’s diplomacy at all Arab, regional and international levels.
