Minister of Tourism visits Naseej’s projects in Dilmunia Island and Madinat Salman

Manama, April 29 (BNA): Minister of Tourism FTema bint Jaafar Al-Serafi stressed the importance of supporting projects that play a vital role in promoting local and regional tourism in Bahrain and strengthening Bahrain’s position.

She made these remarks while visiting the Naseej projects located in Dilmunia Island and Salman City. During her visit to the island of Dilmunia, she visited the CanalView project, the Mall of Dilmunia and the new Nadine School.


They discussed various initiatives of common interest, which fall within the scope of Bahraini tourism initiatives and programs that serve opportunities to deal with the private sector within the framework of the tourism strategy 2022-2026.

She toured the tourism-related projects supervised by Naseej in Madinat Salman and saw the potential the island offers in terms of its attractive beachfront feature.

Discussed plans to transform the beachfront into a tourist site hosting great potential for national and regional events.


It also highlighted the activities on the main beach, where residents and visitors of the island can enjoy many water sports activities. Her Excellency stressed the importance of strengthening this region, as it will enhance local tourism in the region.

During the tour, the Minister and CEO of Naseej, Amin Al-Areedh, discussed the role of the public and private sectors in promoting tourist destinations.

He pointed to the importance of large-scale tourism projects in creating tourism opportunities, with promising prospects for further success and diversification of the hospitality sector in Bahrain.

The minister praised the efforts made by Naseej in implementing these projects with the highest standards, which support the development of the tourism sector in Bahrain.

She said that these efforts go hand in hand towards strengthening the tourism sector, which is a fundamental pillar in supporting the Bahraini economy.

Al-Areedh expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Government of Bahrain for its efforts in supporting private sector projects. He also thanked the minister for his visit to Naseej projects located in Dilmunia Island and Salman City.

Al-Arayed affirmed Naseej’s commitment to diversify its real estate and development projects to serve the development of the tourism sector and support economic development in Bahrain by enhancing the Kingdom’s attractiveness and competitiveness and attracting more investments.
