Minister of Industry and Commerce visits Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency

Tokyo, May 7 (BNA): Minister of Industry and Trade, Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, stressed the importance of strengthening the foundations of fruitful cooperation between Bahrain and Japan in the field of space, due to its influential contributions in building a diversified sector. A competitive economy based on knowledge and innovation.

This came during his visit to the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), in the presence of the Minister of Sustainable Development, Noor bint Ali Al-Khulaif, within the framework of the official visit of the Bahraini economic delegation to Japan.

During the visit, the minister and the accompanying delegation listened to a detailed explanation of the agency’s work mechanisms, as it is one of the most important international agencies working in the field of space exploration, development of space technologies, launching satellites, exploration of the moon, asteroids, monitoring and protecting the Earth’s climate, and many other tasks related to space science.
