Cairo, October 29 (BNA) A member of the Council of Senior Scholars in Al-Azhar and Head of the Religious Committee in the Egyptian Parliament, His Eminence Dr. Ali Jumaa, stressed the importance of the Bahrain Forum for Dialogue between East and West. For human coexistence, which will be held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in conjunction with the historic official visit of His Holiness Pope Francis to the Kingdom of Bahrain at the invitation of His Majesty the King. He stressed that the forum will be held at a time when the world is full of conflicts and problems such as climate change and the global food crisis.
His Excellency Dr. Ali Gomaa, in a statement to Al-Azhar Media Center, indicated that the Bahrain Forum for Dialogue is a necessity to promote human brotherhood through the worship of the One God. He praised the establishment of the forum under the auspices of His Majesty the King, with the participation of the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Chairman of the Council of Muslim Elders, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, and His Holiness Pope Francis. He pointed to the participation of religious representatives from all over the world and a crowd of intellectuals and media professionals.
