We are expanding our audit and impairment valuation practice in the MENA region (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt) and are looking for talented professionals with a background in financial valuation, modeling, analytics and vulnerability reviews to assess and deliver value and insight to our client portfolio.
This role offers significant potential for growth and learning, given the business agenda and focus on introducing and developing an Audit Support Specialist position across the region.
Your main responsibilities
As an Executive in the Support Center that specializes in auditing, you will spend your day working as a member of audit teams in the MENA region advising, coaching and challenging colleagues on various valuation estimates and assumptions, including assessing the appropriateness of valuation methods and the methodology used to develop those estimates. Estimates and assumptions.
You will understand key business drivers, co-develop our approach with the client and your audit colleagues, agree on value techniques and methodology, and deliver value to the client through insights, realistic conclusions and advice.
As a specialist audit evaluation leader, you will manage a team to assist in audit procedures against valuation accounting estimates. This will include developing an independent estimate or scope, testing the client’s process for developing the estimate and evaluating the management specialist’s work to determine how and if it can be used as audit evidence (and to assist in the design and implementation of any additional actions)
You will plan, prepare, and review deliverables in various formats including Excel spreadsheets, written reports, presentations and discussions with the client.
Your role as a leader will be instrumental in creating a positive work and learning culture, excellent communication within the team, and a collaborative and open relationship with your audit colleagues. As a leader at EY, you will provide training to your team and colleagues, and participate in regular feedback sessions.

Additionally, as it is a new team supporting audits in the MENA region, we are looking for talented professionals with strong communication and leadership skills to lead the team and the regional agenda.
To qualify for this role, you must have
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management
At least seven years of practical experience in the field of financial advisory, with a particular focus on financial evaluation
Experience in evaluation and modeling in various sectors. At a minimum, you are expected to have conducted multiple business valuations (discounted cash flow method/general corporate guidance and prior transaction methods) and purchase price assignments, development of complex financial models (including debt financing), prepared feasibility studies and supported in the review of multiple valuation reports from a third party.
In-depth understanding of complex assessment fundamentals [discounts & premiums, option pricing models, PWERM, intangible asset valuation]Experience in market assessment, market sizing, and analysis of supply and demand gaps
Strong excel skills for designing, testing and building evaluation models
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and managing complex audits
Experienced in analytics, including data collection, adjustments, and classification
Compliance and understanding of regulatory requirements
Flexibility to travel across the MENA region based on customer interactions
Ideally, you will also have
Previous experience in evaluation and modeling in a professional services/Big 4 or similar environment
– Wider understanding of the GCC/Middle East market
The ability to identify and address indicators of potential management bias towards accounting evaluation estimates.
Exercising professional skepticism when verifying valuation estimates and assumptions because of their inherent nature.
