LMRA reports 35 irregular workers, eight agencies referred for legal action


Manama, Feb. 13 (BNA): The Labor Market Regulatory Authority announced that a joint inspection campaign in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior revealed a number of violations related to the labor market and residence laws. systems.


The authority said that 35 irregular workers were arrested for violating their work permits, and 8 violating manpower agencies were referred to legal procedures after they did not obtain the necessary licenses.


The Labor Market Regulatory Authority affirmed its commitment to monitoring and regulating the labor market through specialized and dedicated teams to ensure the preservation of rights and to secure a safe work environment for all.


The authority stressed the need for all institutions and individuals to abide by the established legal procedures and obtain the necessary licenses from the Labor Market Regulatory Authority to avoid legal accountability.


It renewed its call to the public to report any violations related to the labor market and illegal employment.
