Manama, Dec. 14 (BNA): The Labor Market Regulatory Authority carried out joint inspection campaigns in the Capital Governorate, Muharraq Governorate and the Southern Governorate, in cooperation with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs of the General Directorate for Combating Crime. The Department of Examination and Forensic Sciences for Criminal Information at the Ministry of Interior and the police directorates of the capital and Muharraq governorates.
The campaigns resulted in a number of violations related to the labor market and residency laws being reported, and they were referred for legal action.
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority affirmed its commitment to reporting any violation through a continuous and intensive inspection plan, in cooperation with the relevant government agencies.
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority has renewed its call to all members of society to support the efforts of government agencies to address illegal labor practices, calling on the public to report violations by filling out the electronic form on the authority’s website www.lmra.bh or contacting the authority’s call center 17506055.
