Manama, May 2 (BNA): The Labor Market Regulatory Authority carried out two joint inspection campaigns in the Southern Governorate on a number of shops and work sites.
The campaigns resulted in reports of violations related to the labor market and residency laws, and they were referred for legal action.
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority indicated that a joint inspection campaign was implemented in the southern governorate, in coordination with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs and the Governorate Police Directorate. As for the other inspection campaign, it was carried out in coordination with the General Directorate for Crime Detection and Criminal Evidence at the Ministry of Interior.
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority affirmed its commitment to reporting any violation through a continuous and intensive inspection plan, in cooperation with the relevant government agencies.
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority renewed its call to all members of society to support the efforts of government agencies to address illegal labor practices, calling on the public to report violations by filling out the electronic form on the authority’s website www.lmra.gov.bh or calling the authority’s call center at 17506055.
