Manama, February 3 (BNA) The Labor Market Regulatory Authority carried out an inspection campaign in Muharraq Governorate.
The campaign was coordinated with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs of the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism and the Muharraq Governorate.
The campaign resulted in the seizure of a number of violations related to the provisions of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority Law and the Residency Law in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Legal measures were taken against a number of violators.
The authority pointed out that this campaign comes as a continuation of the intensive efforts to develop the work environment and address all practices that would affect the competitiveness, fairness and flexibility of the labor market, in addition to its negative effects on social security.
She stressed the importance of the community’s role in supporting the efforts of government agencies that seek to maintain community security and social, health and economic stability, calling on the public to report any complaints related to the labor market and illegal immigrant workers.
