Manama, November 27 (BNA) Today, the Labor Market Regulatory Authority, in cooperation with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, carried out an inspection campaign on the gathering places of expatriate employees and a number of shops in Muharraq Governorate. Interior and Muharraq Governorate.
The joint inspection campaigns aim at stabilizing the local labor market and identifying any violations or illegal procedures that may affect the fairness, flexibility and competitiveness of the labor market.
The campaign resulted in the arrest of a number of violators who were proven to have violated the provisions of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority and the Residency Law in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The authority stressed the importance of the community’s role in supporting the efforts of government agencies in addressing illegal practices in the labor market.
