Manama, May 17 (BNA): Nof Abdulrahman Jamsheer, CEO of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority and Chairman of the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking, received Shiferu Gina, Consul General of Ethiopia to Bahrain.
Jamsheer congratulated the consul on assuming his position as consul general in the Kingdom, wishing him success in performing his duties.
She stressed the role of diplomatic missions in cooperating with government agencies to educate migrant workers about their rights and duties and the regulations and laws of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority.
She affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to preserving the work environment for Ethiopian workers and maintaining stable relations between workers and employers.
The CEO also highlighted initiatives that contribute to enhancing the work environment, including the labor registration system, the voluntary insurance scheme for domestic workers, and the wage protection system.
