Learning and Development Executive

Job Brief

We are looking for an experienced Learning and Development Executive to develop our organizational training strategy, oversee its implementation and evaluate its results. She will identify training and development needs and lead appropriate training initiatives that build loyalty to the company.

The Learning and Development Manager works in several departments to keep employees informed of both their own sector and the general needs of the company. A learning and development manager often has backgrounds in business, leadership, human resources, development, and education.

Executive learning and development responsibilities include enhancing employee skills, performance, productivity and work quality.

– Identify and assess future and current training needs through job and career path analysis, annual performance evaluations and consultation with line managers
Draw a comprehensive or individualized training and development plan that meets needs and expectations
– Deploy a variety of training methods
– Holding effective induction and orientation sessions
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness and success of the training program and the return on investment periodically, and submitting a report thereon
Training budget management
Providing opportunities for continuous development
Solve any specific problems and design training programs as necessary
Maintain a deep understanding of training trends, developments and best practices

Proven work experience as a Learning and Development Executive
– Proven track record in designing and implementing successful training programs
Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in-classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulation, etc.)
– Excellent communication and leadership skills
– Ability to plan, multitask and manage time effectively
Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals
– Good computer and database skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources or a related field
