Late UAE President mourned

Manama, May 13 / BNA / The Arab and Islamic countries lost the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who passed away today after a life full of dedication and achievements for his country, making it among the developed countries.


The UAE Ministry of Presidential Affairs mourned the death of the late president, and declared 40 days of mourning with half-mast flags raised from today. Work will also be suspended in all ministries, departments, and federal, local and state agencies for a period of three days, starting from Saturday.


His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa mourned the death of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, stressing that the late president devoted his life to serving his country and the Arab and Islamic nations, as well as all of humanity.


The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, mourned the death of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.


The UAE has lost a loyal son, and the leader of its blessed empowerment process, whose achievements, wisdom, giving and efforts are embodied in every corner of our country. Khalifa bin Zayed, my brother, the supporter and the teacher, may God protect him. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed said on his Twitter account, “Oh, eternal peace.”


Kings, princes, presidents, prime ministers and senior officials from various countries mourned the death of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, which indicates their respect for the late, and their appreciation for his outstanding achievements that did not only benefit. The people of the Emirates, but also most of the people of the world.
