Khalid Bin Hamad visits Barbar, Al Ittifaq Clubs

Manama, October 13 (BNA): His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the Public Sports Authority, and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee visited on Monday, October 11th. Berber Clubs and Agreement.

The visit comes as part of His Highness’ policy to enhance cooperation with sports authorities to encourage the implementation of plans and programs that contribute to raising the level of sports in line with the policies of the General Sports Authority.

The visit was attended by His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President of the General Sports Authority, and Dr. Abdul Rahman Sadiq Askar, CEO of the General Sports Authority.

During the visit, His Highness Sheikh Khaled met with HE Mr. Fawzi Abdullah Al-Darazi, President of Al-Ittifaq Club, HE Mr. Ali Hassan Mohamed, President of the Berber Club, and a number of officials and members of the two clubs.

His Highness praised the great efforts made by the two clubs to serve the sports sector in the Kingdom by holding various sports activities and events and encouraging young people to practice sports.

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Thani was briefed by the presidents of the two clubs on future plans and programs. He praised the clubs’ future vision to achieve more achievements and enhance the Kingdom’s position on the continental and international sports map.

The heads of the Berber Club and Al Ittifaq Club expressed their gratitude and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Khalid for this visit, which reflects his keenness to support national clubs and encourage them to further progress and development.
