K-Cinema comes to Bahrain in tenth annual Korean film festival

Manama, Nov. 15 (BNA): The 10th edition of the annual Korean Film Festival will bring together history films and dramas based on true stories.

The Korean Embassy in Bahrain will host the festival on November 22 and 24 at Seef Mall Cinema.

The festival will screen three films over three consecutive days at 7 pm.

The Admiral: The Roaring Currents, a film based on the Battle of Myeongryang in 1597; Prodigy: Letters to the President, a drama based on the true story of Jun Kyung, a high school math prodigy; and The Classified File, a drama based on a true 1978 Busan kidnapping case.

The opening film, Admiral, Roaring Currents, was a box office hit and drew more than 17 million spectators into cinemas.

In the second film, Miracle: Letters to the President, Park Jeong-Min and Lim Yoon-A feature as two brilliant problem solvers.

The third film, The Classified File, blends suspense with human drama well.

Movie tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis each evening from November 22nd to November 24th from 6pm, one hour before the movie show).

The ticket counter will be located inside the Seef Mall cinema (Seef 1 – Cinema 13).
