We are looking for a Saudi National Health, Safety and Environment Engineer to be based in Saudi Arabia.

We are requesting a new HSE Engineer to implement, monitor and report on all aspects of the project’s HSE arrangements. To ensure that all persons working on the project comply with client standards, contract requirements, relevant international standards, local/national authority requirements and industry best practices.

Adhering to and implementing the requirements and procedures of the internal health, safety and environment management system F+G.
Adhering to the project’s HSE requirements and implementing this within the F+G site team.
Monitor compliance with applicable safety standards and procedures and bring to the attention of the project manager any safety violations for further action.
Maintains F+G HSE Site Risk Assessments, Office Risk Assessment, Office Fire Risk Assessment, etc.
Ensures that relevant safety measures are put in place for the F+G site team.
Coordinate safety related activities for the F+G site team.
Conduct and coordinate regular safety training for the F+G site team, as required.
Implementation of the project’s EHS extrapolation for the F+G site team.
– Report any incidents to the F+G site team to the line manager
Participate in accident and incident investigations for the F+G site team.
Prepare and maintain F+G HSE records, eg training, induction, inspection reports, accidents/accidents, etc. as required.
Communicate, coordinate and seek any advice from the Health and Safety Manager at F+G as required
Liaise with F+G project managers and supervise construction sites and contractors on HSE issues
– Prepares regular weekly, monthly and other HSE reports as required for employer and project manager issuance.
Review, comment and monitor HSE construction site supervision plans, procedures and operations.
Review and comment on construction site supervision and contractor risk management controls and safe work systems.
Monitor, evaluate and report on construction site supervision and contractor HSE compliance with project HSE requirements in accordance with HSE legislation, industry best practices and contract
Conduct daily on-site HSE tours, regular HSE assessments and checks with construction site supervision and contractor HSE personnel in accordance with applicable safety standards and procedures.
Compile and monitor project health and safety tracking procedures
Follow up with Construction Site Supervision and the contractor on any outstanding HSE issues, including corrective actions and ensure prompt closure with sufficient evidence of compliance.
Compile and review project health and safety data and measurements for analysis and review of meetings.
Participate in and contribute to the weekly EHS performance review meetings when required.
Report any outstanding and critical safety issues or inaction at weekly progress meetings.
– On major project HSE issues, prior to issuing any implementation notices, seek advice from the Director of Health and Safety at F+G.
