Jaffari Endowments chairman opens mosque

Manama, April 13 (BNA): The head of the Jaafari Endowments, Yusuf bin Saleh Al-Saleh, today re-opened the Sheikh Abdul Hussein Al-Tifel Mosque in Jidhafs.

The mosque has been restored in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which includes 30 mosques run by the Sunni and Jaafari Endowments Directorates across the country.

The opening ceremony was attended by members of the Council, the head of the Jaafari Endowments Department, Muhammad Jaafar Al-Husseini, and a number of citizens.

The three-storey mosque, which can accommodate 450 worshipers, includes a prayer room for men and another for women, in addition to other integrated service facilities.

Al-Saleh praised the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for mosques, noting the support and follow-up of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
