The pass rate for the Intermediate Certificate is 72%. Those who do not pass the final exam will have to retake it in the second round in which the pass rate is expected to go up.
The pass rate for Grade 12 students (General Certificate of Secondary Education) was 98.3%.
The minister said that the results of the primary stage and the first and second grades of intermediate school will be announced on Monday, June 5.
The minister made personal contacts with the outstanding students and congratulated them on the outstanding results. He also praised their parents for their tangible efforts in following up on their children’s academic achievements.
The minister stressed that the only criterion for obtaining the scholarships of the Ministry of Education is the GPA of the students.
