Interior Ministry’s directorates carry on efforts to ensure safety of citizens, residents during Eid Al-Fitr holiday

Manama, April 22 (BNA): The police directorates in the four governorates and the relevant directorates of the Ministry of Interior have taken the necessary arrangements to ensure the safety and security of citizens and residents during Eid Al-Fitr through security deployment throughout the Kingdom.

Police directorates and community police deployed near mosques and the Eid prayer hall to regulate traffic. They were also present on roads, commercial malls and residential areas to provide the best security services.

The General Traffic Department has intensified its deployment of traffic officers to monitor major highways and regulate traffic near shopping centers and busy roads. On a related note, the General Directorate of Civil Defense has been alerted to ensure a speedy response in the event of a fire.
