Interior Minister receives ministry’s team, praises winning International Pace Sticking Championship

Manama, June 23 (BNA) The Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received the team of the Ministry of Interior for winning the International Speed ​​Endurance Championship. The Chief of Public Security, Lieutenant-General Tariq Al-Hassan, and the Commander of the Royal Police Academy, Brigadier Fawaz Al-Hassan, attended.

The team won the competition at the British Imperial College (Sandhurst) for the ninth time, in which this year’s competition was held with the participation of 20 teams. Police officer Fathi Nagy was honored as the best individual participant in the competition for the second year in a row.

The Minister of Interior congratulated the team on this achievement, praising the outstanding performance of the team members’ determination and team spirit at work, along with the training plans. He also praised the academy’s role in coaching the team. He wished the team more success in the upcoming competitions.
