Manama, Feb. 5 (BNA): The Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received today a delegation from the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, headed by the Executive President of the Conference, William C. Daroff. The Chief of Public Security, Lieutenant General Tariq Al-Hassan, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Sheikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, and the Director General of Media and Security Culture, Brigadier General Muhammad bin Dinah, attended the event.
The Minister of Interior welcomed the delegation, stressing that the visit comes to exchange views. He said that the National Action Charter represents the civilized and democratic approach to coexistence and peace. Promotes human understanding, dialogue and tolerance based on the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The Minister of Interior said that justice, coexistence and openness are a solid foundation in Bahraini society to enhance reform and national capabilities in facing challenges. He praised the strong relations and strategic partnership between Bahrain and the United States to promote security and peace at the regional and international levels. He said that Bahrain enjoys security and stability through a remarkable decrease in crime rates through measures based on community partnership and effective community security programs and initiatives.
Meanwhile, the CEO expressed the delegation’s appreciation for meeting the Minister of Interior and discussing the importance of the Abraham Accord between Bahrain, Israel and the United States, and focusing on the common values between the two countries.
