Manama, April 29 (BNA): Minister of Industry and Trade Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro praised the support of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King, and the consultant of the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NEAD). Chairman of the Council, to establish a permanent market for Bahraini farmers as a platform to encourage and promote local products.
This came during an inspection visit to the permanent farmers’ market in Hoorat A’ali, accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Municipal Affairs and Agriculture.
He was briefed on the projects presented by merchants in the permanent farmers’ market, stressing the government’s keenness to follow up on all issues related to the commercial sector, and to continue stimulating an economic and commercial environment that encourages growth, expansion and investment, within the framework of continuous efforts to follow developments in the markets, and to see the needs of traders.
