Manama, October 26 (BNA) Minister of Industry and Trade Zayed Rashid Al-Zayani participated in the discussion session of the Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Award as a keynote speaker in the panel discussion (Industry and Commerce: Prospects and Aspirations).
The Board of Trustees of the Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Award was attended by Khalid Mohammed Kanoo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Award.
The first session hosted a group of officials, researchers and academics, and aims to support efforts in spreading a culture of scientific dialogue and enriching substantive discussions.
The Minister praised this initiative for enriching the economic and cultural scene in Bahrain, and the role of the Board of Trustees in supporting the economic industry in all scientific and cultural aspects and supporting economic sciences professionally at the local and regional levels.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors stressed the most prominent scientific and economic issues and presented them in a professional scientific manner by stakeholders and specialists to raise awareness.
He stressed the keenness to support initiatives and events that contribute to the advancement of science and the economy at the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the Arab region.
The Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Award comes within the interest of the Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Business Group in supporting public service projects, and effectively contributing to religious, cultural and humanitarian projects.
The award supports scientific progress and encourages intellectuals and scholars from Bahrain and Arab countries in the fields of Islamic studies, finance, economics, business and various fields of science and literature.
