Iling-Junior nets 1st goal as Juventus beats Atalanta 2-0

Milan, May 7 (BNA): Youngster Samuel Ealing Jr. scored his first goal for Juventus in his Juventus debut to help his team beat Atalanta 2-0 and move to second place in Serie A on Sunday.

The 19-year-old scored early in the second half and Dušan Vlahović sealed the score in injury time shortly after he was subjected to discriminatory chants by the Atalanta fans, prompting a brief halt to the match.

It was only Juventus’ second win in seven matches and saw the Bianconeri leapfrog Lazio, who lost 2-0 to AC Milan on Saturday in a close battle for the top two in Serie A.

Atalanta hit the goal twice and remained five points behind Inter Milan, who are fourth and last in the Champions League qualifiers, according to the Associated Press.
