Manama, Feb. 17 /BNA/: The President of Hungary. Katalin NovakToday, he attended the Cup of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for horse racing and his sons. The race was held at the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, in the presence of His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Chairman of the Supreme Authority of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club. His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa briefed the Hungarian President on Bahrain’s interest in equestrian sports in general and horse racing in particular, as it is part of the kingdom’s authentic history. He also discussed with her bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation and ways to enhance them at all levels.
The Hungarian President watched the race, in which cash prizes worth 68,000 Bahraini dinars were allocated. Three cars were also chosen by the spectators who attended the race.
