HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Chairperson of the World Customs Organization (WCO) and members of the Policy Commission

Manama, Dec. 6 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with the President of the World Customs Organization, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and members. The World Customs Organization Policies Committee in Gudaibiya Palace.

His Highness highlighted the vital roles played by the customs authorities in supporting global economies and promoting economic development.

His Highness praised the efforts of the Bahraini workforce in the Kingdom of Bahrain’s customs, which always works for the good of the country and citizens, and adopts the best international practices that enhance the Kingdom’s position at the international level.

His Highness welcomed the members of the committee on the occasion of their visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting the results of the committee meeting, which was held for the first time in the Kingdom.

His Highness praised the efforts of the World Customs Organization headed by His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, wishing it more success.

For their part, the President of the World Customs Organization and members of the Policies Committee of the World Customs Organization expressed their thanks and appreciation for the support of His Royal Highness in promoting customs work, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.

Also present were the advisor to His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and His Excellency the Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. the meeting.
