HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister issues Edict (6) of 2023

Manama, Feb. 1 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued Resolution No. (6) of 2023 to reconfigure the Advisory Committee for the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) in education. and the Training Quality Authority (BQA), based on the proposal of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Training Quality Authority.

According to the decision, the National Qualifications Advisory Committee is chaired by the Chief Executive Officer of the Higher Education Quality Authority, and it consists of the following members:

1- Sheikh Moaz bin Daij Al Khalifa, representing the Civil Service Bureau

2. Dr. Samir Al-Atoum, representative of private universities

3. Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Baqer, representative of public universities

4. Dr. Samah Mohammed Al-Ajjawi, representative of the Ministry of Education

5. Dr. Amina Mohamed Buallay, representative of the Higher Education Council

6- Ahmed Jaafar Moftah, representative of the Ministry of Labor

7. Ahmed Abdullah Abdel Rahim, representing the private sector

8. Professor Nawaf Muhammad Al-Jishi, representative of the private institutes.

The decree states that the first five members will serve for four years, while the other members will serve for three years.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Higher Education Quality Authority shall implement the provisions of this decision, and it shall come into force immediately and be published in the Official Gazette.
