HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister hosts a retreat to discuss Government workstream priorities, initiatives, and proposals

Manama, Dec. 15 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today held a retreat, attended by the Council of Ministers, to discuss the government’s priorities, initiatives and proposals that are in line with the vision of His Majesty the King. The discourse and exchange of ideas that facilitate the retreat will help shape the Kingdom’s development framework based on the principles of the National Action Charter.


During the retreat, His Highness directed that in light of the unprecedented challenges faced by the global economy in recent years, priority sectors should be strengthened in the Kingdom that provide good jobs for Bahraini citizens. In addition, His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed Bahrain’s commitment to implementing Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 to build a modern, sustainable and diversified economy.


His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also touched on the importance of improving the efficiency and quality of government services. In this regard, the satisfaction of Bahraini citizens with government services is a key indicator of success. In addition, the use of accountability, transparency, and responsibility across government workstreams is critical to protecting public funds and ensuring that resources are used sustainably.


His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad concluded the retreat by directing members of the Council of Ministers that the well-being and success of Bahraini citizens is one of their priorities and that strengthening partnerships with the legislative authority and the private sector is essential to nurturing a prosperous future for the Kingdom.
